On September 18, the 40th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference & Exhibition in 2023, kicked off at the Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre, Portugal. Akcome, with a series of N-type high-efficiency PV modules, made a stunning appearance at the Exhibition, and discussed technological innovation with global clients to jointly help the development of green energy in Europe.
With a history of more than 40 years, EU PVSEC is the world's oldest famous photovoltaic exhibition, which shows the latest technology and market development prospects of photovoltaic energy storage and new energy in Europe and even in the world. The exhibition in Portugal attracted people from manufacturing enterprises and research centers around the world to explore new trends, new concepts and development spaces for the industry.
This year, Akcome focuses on the research and development and exploration of N-type cells and modules. At this exhibition, Akcome continues to empower our clients with AK iPower 7.0 and AK iTopper 4.0/5.0/6.0 series modules. These two series modules are typical representatives of Akcome’s N-type product series and adapt to the installed requirements of various application scenarios, especially the AK iPower 7.0 series modules. The power of the series modules on the exhibition reaches 730W. This module uses 210 mm heterojunction cells. And its efficiency reaches 23.5%, with high bifacial rate, low degradation, lower LCOE and the like. As a preferred 730W high efficiency heterojunction module for a large ground power station, as soon as it was unveiled at the exhibition, it attracted many investors to consult and was sought after by many clients.
As one of the key areas for Akcome’s strategic deployment in overseas markets, Portugal has accepted Akcome's shipment of a large number of efficient and high-quality modules to the local market in recent years. The products are highly praised by local dealers for their superior quality and perfect after-sales service. Portugal has recently updated its National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) with a target of 20.4GW of solar PV installed capacity by 2030. At present, Portugal is committing to achieving the photovoltaic capacity target of 8.4GW in 2025 within two years, more than double the previous national plan. In previous national plans, it expected 9GW of solar photovoltaic capacity by 2030. The Portuguese government sees solar photovoltaic as the basis for achieving the goal of electricity decarbonization in the coming decades.
Based on the favorable market environment, Akcome will seize the opportunity, to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the brand, and help achieve the global decarbonization goal as soon as possible.
